STAY AWHILE

You, my neighbors in Central PA, can help shape this website by submitting articles, ideas, critiques and technical support. Please visit at and take a look around. This is a private, non-commercial, website for use by private individuals or nature-based non-profit organizations in our regional area.

Who should visit Nature Connections?

  • The curious: For individuals or families who do not currently have any outdoor interests or hobbies. I offer you a universe of discovery and opportunity.
  • The outdoorsy type: For those of you who already enjoy the outdoors and seek ways to expand your knowledge or connect with other like-minded enthusiasts.
  • The nature-based community: Individuals and local organizations who are active in sharing their love for nature with our neighbors in Central PA.
  • Anyone who cares about a child's future: Nature Connections is your local link to the NO CHILD LEFT INSIDE MOVEMENT. Find out more about Nature Deficit Disorder and what you can do to improve tomorrow while enhancing your family's own spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health today.
  • The "Movers & Shakers" and other Professionals: Find out the vital role you (educators, doctors, pastors, law makers, city planners, builders and everybody else) can play to begin a cultural shift that can lead to a healthier economy, more effective schools, less mental and health problems, and a well-rounded community.

You may discover that you are already active in supporting the intent and goals of the No Child Left Inside movement without realizing it.  The idea of reconnecting our culture back to the natural world is almost universal. "In an era of public discord, the issue of children and nature has a peculiarly unifying effect on people, regardless of politics or religion" -C&NN

See ya outside!
